Dazzling Photo Remix

Well not really DAZZLING! Today I am continuing my photo review of the past year.  It is holiday time and I am away from the computer most of the time.  We are at the Zenith of our popular meme, ABC Wednesday, and at the letter "Z".

I have Zillions of new pictures to put in from the Zoom lens but Zero time to do it in.

I am not sure these will DAZZLE you but I do have some new ones coming up that are pretty good.

Please give my blog some extra Zippy hits, clicks, as I am reaching the 50,000 page views! Zowie!

Since it is our summer holidays, I have taken a break from any reasonable text over the last few blogs as you can tell. Sometimes I actually do write!

I hope to get around to your blogs next week when I will have more time.

This is a review mostly of some my birding photos.  It has been a great year for me for birding.  I still have so many albums to go through and will have to finish this photo round up at a later blog time.

The Stilts could not return to us because the field was drained and the whole environment changed.  So many birds need the water as a nursery for their young.

That is it for now...on holidays so just the photo review today of some of my favorite photos this year.

I hope you enjoyed this repeat remix of some of my favorite photos.
Thank you to these memes for allowing bloggers to share their story.  I may not remember to enter them all but I still list them for others and as this is the quick way for me to do it.

The Bird D'pot Thank you Anni
Our World Tuesday Thank you Jennifer
Sweet Shot Tuesday Thank you Kent
ABC Wednesday Thank you Denise, Roger and Team
Nature Notes Wednesday Thank you Michelle
Outdoors Wednesday Thank you Susan
Wild Bird Wednesday Thank you Stewart

I list all the memes for the week now as I can only spend a short time on the computer.  To continue reading posts you must click older post below or see the index at the top or the side or pick a popular post or label from the sidebar.

  1. Holly cow, I'M dazzled! The further I scrolled the more I liked! That stilt laying down is awesome! I'm sorry they drained the field and the stilts didn't return. There are two nesting pair of willets on the church property that adjoins mine and for the last two years they have mowed it over one week before the babies fledge and are escorted down to the water. It's so frustrating. I've spoken to them, but some people just don't care. They are just birds, afterall!

    1. It is so frustrating when the last thing to be considered in any development is nature.

  3. I can honestly say I have never EVER seen a Black Necked Stilt laying down. Gives a whole new perspective of their pink legs. Of course, as always great photos of the birds. And that octopus...whoa. Are you a deep sea diver then? [I ate smoked octopus once...real chewy stuff...like rubber. Never again. LOL]

    1. The momma Stilt came and took ever so long to fold those long legs and sit beside me very very close and have a nice chat about her baby stilts in the nest! I read that the bend in the legs of stilts is not a knee bend it is the ankle bend!

    1. Hi Gemma. I like the Towhee and how he posed for me also! He dances all around the feeders, he is very flamboyant and always makes a few raspy calls as he comes into the yard to let everyone know he has arrived.
